Our Lord and his disciples had no settled home or friends in Jerusalem so they had no other place to flee to than that upper chamber, where, not long before, Christ had kept the Passover with them. But God gathered them together again, so that when our Lord rose from the dead, he found them all in the same place and then he revived their faith and courage.
